After visiting Stygian Sound earlier in the year with Burton C. Bell, MGT is back in the studio to record guitars for producer David Baron for a new Cyborg Amok single entitled "Why Not". The single is tentatively scheduled for a December 2023 release.
Some of my greatest moments as an audio engineer is working with professionals who show up prepared, excited, and with a great attitude. Mark brought the killer rhythm tracks with great feel, tasty licks with swagger, and alluring textures to this song. We experimented with different tonalities and effect pedals to really provide a wide variety of options for the artist and producer.
